Finnish comics are once again represented at the 39th Angoulême International Comics Festival held 26th–29th January 2012. The world’s biggest comic convention gathers near 6,000 comics professionals together every year.
Finnish works can be found at exhibition section N 58 maintained by the Finnish Literature Exchange. Artists present include Mari Ahokoivu, Tommi Musturi, Milla Paloniemi, Marko Turunen and Reetta Laitinen, who is also the editor-in-chief of Finnish comics journal Sarjainfo.
