Kati Kovács

Nowadays living in Italy, Kati Kovács (born in 1963) creates stories that are wonderfully lively and straightforward, as is her way of drawing. Kovács has published 12 albums in Finland and her works have been translated into Swedish, German, French, and Hungarian.

Kovács has perfected the art of concise but surprising comic narrative. She is at her best with short stories that are funny and full of energy. “The Female Robert Crumb” tells stories like nobody else.
